Customer Reviews & Ratings
The pulled pork sandwiches are ridiculous! I shouldn't even post this cuz you will all eat them all and they will run out. Limit 1 sandwich per customer. They are MMMM good and apparently they sell lots of them

You have to look past the tiny dining room and very low key atmosphere to notice that this is some of the best food in the area. The prices are phenomenal for the quality of the food. Since I was not familiar with plantains, the waitress suggested an appetizer of fried green plantains, which were awesome by themselves or with the slightly spicy sauce that came with them. Then I had the Mofongo con pollo frito (mi español sucks, so don't judge if I spelled it wrong) which is fried chicken and fried mashed plantains. Both were prepared perfectly, and really awesome. My husband had the pork taco combination platter that came with beans and rice. The taco shells were fresh and homemade, as was the salsa. I tried it and wow, now that's a taco! The beans and rice that came with it were some of the best I've tasted. Since it was late and we were stuffed to the gills, we got some flan to go and didn't try it until later in the evening, and ¡Ay, caramba! it was Awesome!! They serve Puerto Rican, Cuban and Mexican food, and I really like how they have their menu segregated by nationality for folks like me who don't know the difference but want to. Being from Texas, I am rather picky about Mexican food and usually not very pleased with that Michigan has to offer, but now I know where to go when I want Mexican food, and I was really pleased with the Puerto Rican food, too, which is something I had not tried before. We didn't try anything off the Cuban portion of the menu except the flan so I will definitely be going back to try their Cuban fare! The waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was very timely for a place that makes everything fresh. I highly recommend that everyone try this great restaurant!

Been there MANY times.. Buy the wet burrito, homemade chips and homemade Salsa! You will LOVE IT! I've had wet burritos from everywhere in town and this place has the best.
